1. Avalon Golf Club

A short drive from ICONA Avalon and ICONA Windrift, Avalon Golf Club in Cape May Court House is the perfect place for golfers young and old to eat, play, and celebrate.

Open from dawn to dusk daily throughout the year, the club accommodates golfers of all skill levels. The club offers four tees and a public 18-hole course featuring tight fairways, water hazards, and other challenges.

“Course conditions were excellent all around: lush fairways, rough is a bit long and thick but fair, bunkers seemed to have fresh sand, greens were in great condition. Greens are slower than other places we play, took some getting used to, but that makes them easier for us. Fairways seemed wide, trees are trimmed up, very few forced carries over water so you won’t lose many balls here, and that helps with pace of play — we finished 18 in 3-1/2 hours. Staff was friendly, carts seemed new and have GPS. Just a great experience all around, and we’re already looking forward to playing Avalon again soon!”—Janet Westlund

2. Stone Harbor Golf Club

For more than 35 years, Stone Harbor Golf Club in Cape May Court House has consistently rewarded its members with world-class golf experiences. Designed by legendary golf architect Desmond Muirhead, the club’s 350-acre course has been voted one of the “Top Ten” Private Clubs in New Jersey and received many accolades for its condition and layout.

The course features 18 holes — 11 of which have water hazards — and 58 bunkers to challenge tournament golfers and amateurs alike. Along with its championship golf course, Stone Harbor offers a clubhouse, driving range, and short game area. Currently, Shore Harbor’s in the middle of a comprehensive course renovation.

You must be a member to use the golf course at Stone Harbor. As a member, you’ll be able to access the club’s golf course, as well as social and dining privileges within its clubhouse and other exclusive perks.

“Well maintained fairways and greens with challenging course design makes it a great place for all levels of handicap golfers. Play and enjoy!”—Robert Atkins
